GREAT LAKES REGION CLUBS

40+ Clubs in the Region

2025 BIDS

These rules are meant as guidelines and as they are the region’s rules, the region (admin) has the right to change any of them to do what is best for the region given changes are communicated prior to the events.

-Of the “initial” bids placed into WCPL, one out of every 3 bids (rounding down) will go to the club division. The remaining will be in Open.

-Of the “initial” bids placed into WCPL, the highest grouping is always in Open and the lowest grouping is always in club.

-Any bids in WCPL in the club division not accepted by the top 5 finishers will be moved to the open division.

-All reallocated bids the Region receives will go to the GLRC.

-Teams winning Trickle down bids will cause that “extra earned bid” to remain in the GLR event where the team earned the bid.

-11’s bids will go to the highest finishing 11’s teams in WCPL.

-In the absence of a written rule, the region can allocate bids to any division if the bid is not accepted in the belonged division after a reasonable effort.

-Bids simply “pass over” teams not eligible to earn them. Whether this is because they already have a higher bid, are a team from out of Region, have a waivered player, etc.

-The region can use common sense when issuing bids. For example, if a clubs 3’s team earns a bid in a club division, the club may accept it for its 1’s team with the regions permission.
